Welcome to Fynbos Guest Farm & Animal Sanctuary
Only 90 minutes from Cape Town centre, in the Witzenberg Valley; bordering Tulbagh and Ceres. We are located in the small town of Wolseley, in the heart of the Cape Winelands.
The Guest Farm offers our guests 3 self-catering farm-style cottages, a private caravan & camping facility and the opportunity to stay in the country surrounded by nature.
Part of the farm is the Animal Sanctuary, where we have given a home to various animals in need. From zebra, llamas, alpacas to horses, ostriches and springbok, and a whole lot of other interesting furry and feathered friends. A wonderful family outing.
There is much to do at the farm - from 2 wonderful walks through the natural renosterveld and fynbos, a beautiful Labyrinth, an exquisite glass meditation room, gardens, a shoppe and even a Café & Farmstall. There is something for everyone.
We look forward to having you stay as our guest, as many of our guests are returns, year after year.
We are members of Wolseley and Tulbagh Tourism and are the winners of the prestigious Cape Winelands award for "Sustainable and Responsible Tourism" in 2019.
Cottages:
Each cottage is fully equipped, with linen, towels, etc. and are serviced daily. Each cottage has an indoor fireplace and an outdoor braai area. Our cottages are equipped with Air-conditioners.
Francolin cottage sleeps 4 [preferably for 2 adults and 2 children - ideal for a family or very good friends],
Guinea Fowl Cottage sleeps 2 - ideal for a couple.
Owl Cottage sleeps 4 persons [2 bedrooms]. Please note the 2nd bedroom has 2 single bunk beds in the second bedroom - suitable for children.
Please discuss bringing dogs with if you book to stay in the cottages
We offer a delicious Breakfast Basket - a continental spread delivered to your cottage in a picnic basket for R100 per person. Please note that It is important to request this on booking!
You can visit our Restaurant, located at the bottom of our farm. A short walk and you can enjoy breakfasts, lunches and delicious cakes. We also have a farmstall filled with wonderful items
Another alternative is to have home cooked meals delivered to your cottage! Reasonable prices and really great food and generous portions. Ask about this option when you arrive.
